At a glance

RNAble discovered that the RNA demethylase FTO represents a novel therapeutic vulnerability specifically in cancers with chromosomal instability (CIN). Our drug discovery platform identified a novel family of FTO inhibitors, from which RNB-1720 was optimized and selected as a first-in-class lead candidate. RNB-1720 exhibits excellent oral bioavailability and favorable pharmacokinetic properties, with efficacy confirmed across multiple CIN+ cancer in-vivo models, including AML, ovarian cancer, and head and neck cancer.
